A place for you & all of your friends
You can enjoy Casa Val Neva with up to 10 persons. Enjoy cooking together in the fully equipped kitchen, having dinners on the rooftop terrace
and recharging in five cozy bedrooms. We promise: there is enough space to be together - but also enough to get some quiet moments for yourself.
The simple life
Casa Val Neva is located in the small mountain village "Erli" - a sweet and quiet place. You will most probably only meet some elderly neighbors and some hikers crossing by. The house is only reachable by foot - it is a 5min walk from the parking. Since it is the last house on the street, you will have this place all for yourselves, looking into the valley and feeling like locals. Please note that in respect to our neighbors, no parties are allowed.
Time for pizza
Long pizza nights are absolutely mandatory at
Casa Val Neva! On the rooftop terrace there is a
stone oven waiting for you & your friends. You take care of the drinks and we will provide you with our
recipe for the best pizza dough. And then you can enjoy your own signature pizza Margherita, Funghi or Calzone! (Pro tip: make some more and take them as lunch to the beach the next day - yummy!)
An insider tip: the Val Neva
The house is located in the beautiful Neva valley.
An area with ancient castles, picturesque villages, olive groves and - of course - the river Neva. You will reach it within a
10 min walk from the house to start the day off with a fresh sensation. Up the river, you will find waterfalls with deeper pools & lagoons where you can jump into the water or go for a
swim.
The sea close by
Mare e Monti - at Casa Val Neva, you'll find the best of two worlds. The sea is 12 km away, which is a 30 min drive to the beautiful cities of Albenga or
Alassio. Down there you can enjoy a café and the best ice cream on the beach, stroll around the medieval town or enjoy an aperitif on the vivid piazza before heading out to one of the great seafood restaurants.
A unique house
The house is about 500 years old (we haven't figured it out exactly, but let's agree on very old) and made entirely from stone. Most parts and even the floorings are still original while others are newly renovated in a way to preserve its charms. The history and the pure presence towering over the valley give the house a special character - you will feel it once you step into it.
Eating out
Five minutes from the house you can enjoy simple, good Ligurian cuisine at "Da Lisetta" - including the best homemade Gnocchi with local pesto!
In the small alimentari store next to it, you can get fresh panini, focaccia and everything that the local gardens provide - fresh fruits, vegetables and eggs - as well as a good assertion of Piedmont cheeses and cold cuts.
Getting here
Casa Val Neva is located in Erli, a small village in the mountains. We recommend having at least one car up here for sightseeing trips or groceries. You could either come here all the way by car, or come by train or airplane and then take a rental car.
By train: Albenga Train Station (30 min drive by car)
By plane: Nice Airport or Genova Airport

This is us
Ciao - we are Felix & Luisa! We have known this house for more than 20 years, since it has belonged to Felix' family before. Every summer, the dream in us grew, that we would like to start our own journey with it. And so it was! In 2022, we bought it, gave it lots of love, fresh paint and some new clothes - and now you can spend your holidays here!
